A FPS co-op survival game

During an eight week project my group and I made a co-op survival game. The aim of the game is to work together to recover parts of a broken ship to repair it and flee the planet you landed on, all while defending yourself, your friend and the ship from the creatures living on this strange planet.

My roll in this project was both game and sound designer. As game designer, I took design decisions most often based on the weekly game tests that were held. As the group worked iteratively and with an agile workflow, I often created prototypes to later continue working on. 

I also worked on and implemented all sounds and sound systems, which were partly event based. Learning to mix and use sound effects has helped me greatly. 

Not only did I learn very much about the importance of game design and an agile workflow, I learned the (hard way) weight of having a reasonable scope.
